If you buy and download the program "Comipo" once do you have to pay a second time to download it again?

Nope. You should have got an e-mail containing the link to download the software and your serial-number to register when you buy it for the first time. The link to download the software should still be working and not be expired.

Question; Where's the Plugins folder usually???

It is shown in the upper right of the second image. If still can't find it, then right-click the shortcut/icon of Google SketchUp on the desktop, and click on "Properties". Click on "Open File Location", and you can see the "Plugins" folder in the opened folder.

Another alternative Ive found is to download the trial version of Sketchup 7 pro, which allows you to export directly to OBJ. The downside is that it only has an 8 hour trial period, but if your only opening a file, exporting it and then closing the program, 8 hours should last a very long time.

7 Pro can be installed separately to 8, so if your wanting to make things in Sketchup, make them in 8, save them in 7 file format, and export them in 7.

Haven't tried much sketchup models, but most of what I did had missing textures.
Have you figured out what causes this? Or is is just that the Comipo! haven't optimized it's .obj conversion?

I think not only are the most OBJ files have missing textures, but some MQO files have also missing textures. Unfortunately, I can't figure what the cause of the problem is because I am also a beginner in 3D modeling. There is a chance it can be solved if you open SketchUp, and paint over missing textures with same texture or with another texture.

Did the missing textures become invisible or see through? Or is it only one side you can see texture, but the other will become invisible if you rotate around the model? Or is it just different texture/color from the original model?

I'll try applying textures later.
In some cases, a model lost only one side of it's textures. In other, it lost all textures and become a total see trough.

If you find a model, but the front side is invisible or see through, and you don't need the back/other side that have the texture, then you can flip the sides around with this method.

First, select the model, and then double-click the part that you want to flip till you see blue small dotes on the wanted layer. Right-click on it, and select "Reverse Faces". If the texture is not the same after it flipped, repaint it with the same texture. Export it, and it should have flipped over in ComiPo. The front side that is see through before is now visible with the texture, while the back side that have the texture is now invisible/see through.

In some cases that have lost all textures, and become a total see through, try this method, and see if it works or not.
